On "Zombieland"

"Zombieland" is a complete recipe for success. It's an unabashedly gory, flagrantly un-PC comedy gold mine. You could sit and nitpick certain aspects of it, but as a debut film and a piece of entertainment, "Zombieland" is uniformly excellent. I can't remember the last time I was this thoroughly entertained by a film. And as much as that may have to do with the atmosphere in which I saw it as the film itself, it's hard to deny the pure, unadulterated fun of the whole affair.
