It certainly has a pedigree, but it seems a bit overwrought.

Well, I definitely agree it has a pedigree, and I always enjoy lush trailers like this (even ATONEMENT was referenced) so I hope it doesn't turn out as "overwrought." But you are right, methinks to be a bit skeptical; many of these kinds of films are major bores.

I don't know, this trailer just didn't do it for me. The tone is really odd and it seems very stiff. We'll see.
