The Directors Guild announced their nominations today:
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Best Picture lineup. It would be almost impossible for anything else to break into the race now.
Even though I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

- David Fincher, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
- Ron Howard, Frost/Nixon
- Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight
- Gus Van Sant, Milk
