Mine too. I love it, and I love it even more having seen how it works in the film. It's in competition with "Slumdog Millionaire" to be my favorite score of the year.

Wow!!!!! Now I am really excited!!!
By the way, previously, my favorite Desplat score was the one he wrote for THE GIRL WITH THE PEARL EARRING.
"Girl with a Pearl Earring" is the score that got me started on him, but I must say my favorites of his are either "The Queen" or "Lust, Caution."
I'm also quite partial to "Birth" and "Hostage," and his scores for the films of Jacques Audiard.
Have you heard his recent score for "Largo Winch?" Great stuff.

I LOVE the score. Have the soundtrack on play at least once a day. Of course, I can only imagine how it is in conjunction with the film. And its quite a lovely imagination.

His scores to BIRTH, THE QUEEN< LUST CAUTION and the Audiard films are (enthusiastically agreed) excellent as is the score he wrote right after PEARL EARRING for a film I can't recall the title of about a Russian chess player.
I am sorry to say I don't know of LARGO WINCH, but I can see you consider it essential. I must seek this out!
And Nick, i am not at all surprised you love it, as you are near the top in the 'good taste' department.

If I may ask Matt, what was your opinion of Alexander Desplat's score for BUTTON? He's one of my favorite composers.
