"There Will Be Blood's" Score Deemed Ineligible for Oscar

HOLY SHIT!!

I just read this over at AwardsDaily:

That’s the long and short of it. I got the news a while back but had to get confirmation. And yup, they aren’t letting the score in. It was a last minute decision. Enchanted is apparently out as well. And Into the Wild.

I know this story was scooped elsewhere. You can find it on the Envelope’s site. I chose not to break it early out of consideration. That’s the way it goes. Being first isn’t always the most important thing to me. So there you have it.

What a last minute blindside by the Academy. Bad form too, disqualifying the year's finest score. Well that throws a cog in my awards predictions.

Unbelievable. This is worse than the 4 Month, 3 Weeks, & 2 Days snub.
